Stages of port proccesses

It is important to note that technology and artificial intelligence are being implemented more in smart ports around the world, with the aim of reducing bottlenecks, operational errors, deadlines and costs.

• Dock authorization: the vessel is released to dock and is organized along with the other vessels to follow the docking order.
• Mooring at the port: moment when the ship pulls up to the pier assisted by tugboats and professionals working in the port.
• Unloading and loading of goods: in this stage, ships are unloaded through the handling and transport of containers, this process must be fast to reduce the time that the ship remains docked.
• Packaging of containers: after unloading, the container is taken to the port yard.
• Container removal: after the release of the cargo by the Internal Revenue Service, the documents for the release of the cargo from the port are analyzed, after which the container is processed and delivered to the truck responsible for removing it and proceeding by land to the final destination.
